On a Personal Note

I became employed early in life in order to finance my education. After my studies, I was asked to apprentice in the newly created District Attorney’s Domestic Violence Unit. I remain dedicated to children’s issues. I became Vice President of a physician recruitment company by working my way up the ladder. I learned a valuable lesson when I was struck by a vehicle as a pedestrian told I would never walk again. I know what it is like to live a good life only to have your health and career taken away in a blink of an eye. I know how to face the most daunting challenges and overcome them. I will devote that same perseverance to my government service working to curb spending and reduce the size and scope of government while making sure we continue to keep the quality of services that you deserve. I believe in people; their strengths, their differences and their commitment. I will continue to use my talents to channel those energies for the good of our communities.

This diverse and challenging community of the 38th Senate District is my home. I am dedicated to its people, its charities, organizations, and committees.

I will campaign and serve as an independent thinker and a fresh positive face in our district. My Father, also a Republican served with State Senator,John Calandra, raised me to be honest, principled and loyal. I promise you that will never change.
